Rajeish,

The live charts on Plus has a lot of data and requires good internet speed. Today the ideal speed that we look for is 512kbps and a good system for optimum performance of the platform. Most of the issues regarding to charting what we have found is usually with people using data cards which claim to be 2mbps and so on ... These are not and the best way to check is go to youtube and search for any HD video and try playing it.. IF your system is taking time buffering etc, you can be rest assured that the speed is not good enough..

That said, if you think there is no issue with your internet or your system, please leave me your client id, will call you back and take the system on remote and check this out for you...

Cheers
of course take my id - RM0441. when calling me plz take care that the person should be well versed with the technicalities. and my bandwidth is 716 kbps. downloadable speed 90kb/s. just checked from speedtest.in .i use reliance datacard. big main problem my nest trader hangs. second small problem chart takes long time to load.

Rageish, you have answered the question to your problem. 90Kb bandwidth, isn't good enough for a downloadable platform, you are bound to have disconnections and even with the chart, there is a lot of data to download and will definitely take a long time to load. I have a vodafone data card which claims to be 2mb, but I never get more than 150kb.. Data cards are not good enough..

Try connecting your laptop to a broadband connection and you will see that everything works just fine. What I'd suggest is to please upgrade your internet or else use the webbased platform, our html 5 version should be available very soon.

Sachin,

I have closed my IL&FS account (opened while opening acct with u )but they haven't sent me any mail.Isn't it mandatory for a broker to atleast mail the client that the account has been closed. You have informed me but IL&FS haven't.

For dues/forms they used to send mails.Closing not even one mail. :)

Or is some mail id available of NSE where we (clients) can inform that we have closed account with so and so broker.

Regards,
Raju
Sachin,

Raju

It varies...I disconnect Broadband and connect with Reliance 3G data card ..and my system works fine:)

I feel more confident with Reliance 3G data card than BSNL broadband during trading hours.

yes they tried by taking control with the help of ammy admin, but when unable to understand what the problem was they tried to blame me, saying that i must be doing something purposely as other traders are having no issues like this. then they said the issue is escalated and i will receive a call within an hour. but nobody called.

even today when i called after yesterday's one hour still not completed by their "zerodha standard time", i was told that hanging of nest trader is problem of zerodha and they just have tie up for nest plus charts.

i called the person who opened my a/c, he tried to help but his lack of knowledge and unavailability of technical person came in between. he could not call me as he was very busy, so i called him again to enquire, again the same 1 hour dose of medicine was given to me, and stated that technical person is unable to understand the issue and thinks that there is a problem with my laptop :clapping: and will call me.

but as before i am still waiting for call according to "zerodha standard time"
you know I had a chart loading issue earlier. I called up nest guys ...they installed update Nest Plus 1.3.3.0 ...and then added few .DLL files in some path ( I don't remember this path ..may be registry or something like that ) and then now it works smoothly.

Have you/Nest Guys done these things ?

Download speed of 90kb/s is more than sufficient. Please ensure not many applications are running at the same time. If trader hangs, it has nothing to do with bandwidth. Are you using a netbook? What is its configuration? What other applications are running at the same time? What antivirus do you use? Do you have firewall enabled?

our html 5 version should be available very soon.
Looking forward to it. In the current web based trading, can't resize snap quote window. Any help much appreciated. :)

We as brokers, can offer margin benefits to only what exchanges recognize.. What exchanges in India recognize as reduced risk is if you are long stock and short the index or vice versa... You can check that reduced margin by using the SPAN calculator..
Please give a link to SPAN calculator for such trades? Is this spread benefit automatically applied by RMS?
