One question :
what is the Intraday Exposure zerodha provides ?

is Intraday Exposure 10 times against margin i.e cash in account ?

i.e if i have 6000 in account for intra day my order of 60000 can be executed...

Just to be sure asked as i couldn't find Intraday Exposure anywhere on your site
Hi,

We give 10 times exposure for all the 240 odd f&o stocks and 5 times for all the remaining stocks.

How to calculate margin required for selling options?
Will it be different for near month and far month?

Hi Sachin,
Is it possible to place After market orders from NOW Express.
If an AMO is placed,is it valid only for the next trading day ,since there is no Trade till cancelled order in Indian markets??So we place a fresh amo again at the EOD.
Yes, the AMO is valid only till the end of the next day... you will have to place it afresh next day after market closes.... AMO is allowed only in equity only... A lot of RM's might claim that their broker let's you do AMO in f&O also... But they are wrong.... It is not allowed by the exchange...

If you check your AMO in f&O , if any other broker has let you do... you will see that the order placing time will show 10 mins after opening.... Cheers...

Hi Sachin,
Relating to charges other than the brokerage ,what would be the breakdown that zerodha charges under various headings:

STT
Sebi charges
Trans Charges

There are other charges likes cess, stamp but usually the above 3 would be of a higher value.
Which of these charges (like sebi, stt) would not vary between brokers (say zerodha and idirect) and which do.(Will it be transaction ?).

Dear,Sachin can we have daily n overnight margin calculator in our trading software.....where we can calculate nifty n others stocks

STT and SEBI would be the same... Stamp duty, we are presently charging according to Karnataka Stamp duty act, max of Rs 50 per day(0.01% upto Rs 50)...
Transaction charges (includes NSE charges and clearing charges) is what varies between brokers... This varies from Rs 280/crore(0.0028%) to Rs 700/crore(0.007%) based on where you are trading... With icici is lowest because they have the highest volumes and also clear their own trades(0.0028%) and with Zerodha it is 0.0054%...

Cheers...

Hi Raj,

Margin calculator can't be unfortunately incorporated on the software... We are trying to find a workaround for this where we can help calculate the margins... Any kind of inputs will be helpful...

Cheers...
